The Establishment Clause requires the separation of church and state.

So why in fresh hell is New York City Mayor Adams inserting government into religion? Is it to prepare us for the latest batch of incoming illegals? Is it a precursor to chipping away at the established and successful principles of Constitutional law? Is it to disavow the Judeo Christian American ethos? Is it a baby step into inserting sharia law into the New York City community?

Adams isn’t just sticking himself and government into any religion, like Judaisim or Christianity, the cradle for what the Founding Fathers used to create the greatest experiment ever. He’s decided to make Islam more prominent. The religious breakdown in New York City is 62% Catholic, 22% Jewish, and 9% Muslim. All New York City citizens should be upset, whether religious or not, whether Muslim or not.

On August 29, Adams tweeted, “We're cutting red tape and saying clearly that mosques and houses of worship are free to amplify their call to prayer on Fridays and during Ramadan without a permit necessary.” You know this is a radical move when City Council candidate Justin Brannan can barely contain himself. “All New York City mosques and houses of worship will no longer need to apply for a sound permit to amplify their call to prayer on Friday afternoons and during the holy month of Ramadan. Nobody should need a permit to pray”, he says.

Brannon wants us to believe one needs a permit to pray. This is a lie. Anyone in New York City can pray. What is happening here is something different and it’s dangerous.
