Suddenly, her husband's ownership role in a company that traded in Covid supplies begins to make more sense.
Sun also influenced the content of speeches from the governor's office, steering away from sensitive topics such as the ongoing enslavement and rape of the Uyghur people.
Sun and Hu are alleged to have laundered the kickback money from their various ventures to purchase luxury items such as a 2024 Ferrari and homes in Honolulu and Long Island.
Sun and Hu were allegedly involved in varied aspects of the political and diplomatic New York state processes, from the serious to the comical. Can you say salted duck?
Apparently, the personal chef of the Chinese consulate prepared Nanjing-style salted ducks which were delivered to Sun's parents' home.
