Sublime may not practice Santeria, but some Queens residents apparently do. And it doesn't take a crystal ball to find the evidence. As reported by the New York Post, animal sacrifice has increased dramatically in recent months around Jamaica Bay.
Humane Long Island noted the increase:
"John Di Leonardo, founder and executive director of the animal rescue and advocacy group Humane Long Island, which also services the five boroughs, said Jamaica Bay has emerged as a 'hotspot' for animal cruelty. He estimated he’d received at least a dozen calls about animal sacrifice in the Jamaica Bay area so far this year, compared to three or four for all of 2023."
The news comes on the heels of a national fracas over cats and ducks being killed and eaten in Springfield, Ohio.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), famous for his flatulence and his affair with a Chinese spy, was particularly outraged that such accusations would be leveled at migrants who are, in Swalwell's estimation, poor, fleeing violence, and definitely not here to cast votes for Democrats.
However, the evidence is abundant. All the gentleman from California would have to do is take a look online. The sacrifice isn't about hunger. It's Haitian voodoo. Black magic. This is what happens when you import third world culture.
The family cat is one thing. Voodoo calls for all kinds of sacrifice.
Haitian black priests are known as "bokors".
