• The Manhattan and CDM are pleased to announce the first annual Manhattan Publishing Awards.

The Manhattan is a new media outlet seeking to promote honest journalism and free speech, fearlessly chronicling problems and offering innovative solutions. The Manhattan is also dedicated to becoming a cultural force, reflecting a diversity of opinions and ideas and their free expression. To this end, in October 2022, The Manhattan launched its weekly Bestsellers List, providing uncensored and honest reporting of the best-selling books in the United States, along with picks from our editors with our readers in mind.

Recognizing the need for a new publishing awards program that will promote and reward quality publishing without political bias, The Manhattan is now expanding its cultural program by initiating the first annual Manhattan Publishing Awards. The judging will be done by a panel of distinguished authors and journalists. The program is open to publishers of all sizes from throughout the World, as well as author-publishers.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will be issued in each category, and award-winning books will be publicized in The Manhattan and on other CDM outlets as appropriate. From among the winners, one book will be named The Manhattan Book of the Year.

The first annual Manhattan Book Awards will be open to all English language books published or distributed in the United States during 2021, 2022, and 2023. To launch this exciting new initiative, The Manhattan is offering a reduced entry fee for the first year: the entry fee for each title will be $75 (reg. $100) for the first category and $50 (reg. $80) for each additional category. Publishers or Authors need to submit 3 physical copies and one digital copy of each book for review. 2 additional copies should be submitted for each additional category. All submissions must be postmarked by June 30, 2023.

    Entries should be mailed to:
