Macy’s 2023 Thanksgiving Parade was in full motion on Thanksgiving morning, but momentarily disrupted during its 95th celebratory run.

A group of Pro-Palestinian protestors in New York City attempted to block the parade just shortly before 11am.

Approximately 30 demonstrators jumped over a barrier on the parade route, ran to the street, and then glued their hands to the street forcing the parade to go around them.

They carried a banner, “Genocide Then - Genocide Now - Free Palestine - Land Back.”

The New York Police officers immediately stepped in to clear them and diverted the balloons and the parade around the protestors and arrested them.

The activists wore white jumpsuits smeared with fake blood.

The parade did not halt and continued onward to Macy’s flagship store on Herald Square.

Outside of the parade route, more Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched across Manhattan opposing U.S. policy in the Israel Hamas war long after the Macy Parade concluded.
