In his trademark off-the-cuff style, Donald Trump met with reporters again this morning ahead of hearings in his ongoing trial. He spoke plainly about the proceedings, saving his most pointed criticism for Joe Biden.
"This all comes from Biden in the White House by the way...he can't put two sentences together. He's the worst president in the history of our country...he can't win, he can't speak, he can't walk off a helicopter, can't walk off a plane, can't walk off a stage."
Trump's comments come before the testimony of serial perjurer Michael Cohen, a former Trump employee. It's telling that the two star witnesses, Cohen and adult film actress Stormy Daniels, both have a history of changing their stories about Trump.
In his morning remarks, Trump continued his tactic of quoting media sources such as Jonathan Turley and Andrew McCarthy to sidestep the gag order imposed by Judge Juan Merchan. The pretrial morning ritual has earned Trump untold millions in free press, which is nothing new. A New York Times study showed that in the 2016 election, Trump earned $2 billion in free media coverage, dwarfing any candidate before or since.
It's no wonder that Biden allies such as Jen Psaki are openly hoping that Trump dies, even as she denies video evidence of Biden checking his wristwatch at the funeral of soldiers who died due to Biden's incompetent handling of the U.S. exit from Afghanistan.
Due to the negative attention drawn to Psaki's new book about the Biden presidency, she has vowed to remove the section where she denies that Biden checked his watch at a ceremony for fallen troops.
