In a stirring show of support for Donald Trump, the FDNY decked out a ladder truck with Trump banners last night at MacArthur Airport on Long Island. The gesture was clearly appreciated by Trump, who came out of his plane, a Boeing 757 dubbed Trump Force One, to cheer and wave to the firefighters.
Recently at the RNC, Trump asked for a moment of silence for Corey Comperatore, the firefighter killed by a bullet meant for Trump, at his Bethel Park, PA rally.
Trump was in New York for a weekend fundraiser in the Hamptons. The gathering was hosted by Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick. Co-hosts included former hedge fund manager John Paulson, and Omeed Malik, the CEO of 1789, a financial services firm.
