    Kathy Hochul (X screencap).

    Who Is Hochul's PR Person?

Kathy Hochul, blamed for losing seats in the House by no less a Dem demagogue than Nancy Pelosi, is pushing the latest Covid vaccine. It's almost like she wants to lose her mansion in Albany.

Hochul released a public service announcement this week. In the video, she stands outside a CVS pharmacy where she claims, "It doesn't take any time at all," and proceeds to time her visit on an in-screen stopwatch. "Doing a lot of these?" she asks the nurse. "We're doing plenty," the nurse replies vaguely.

The syringe is obscured from view by the nurse's arm. "Didn't even feel it," Hochul deadpans. "Three minutes and fourteen seconds!" she says in her flat, husky contralto.

    Just Her Latest Unpopular Stance

Hochul famously bombed at the DNC, where her attempt at an upbeat speech fell flat with attendees. Most politicians are experts in projecting enthusiasm, it's an essential trait to gain office. Hochul struggles to appear genuine, even when promoting a pet cause.

Andrew Cuomo brought Hochul into office as his lieutenant governor in 2014, otherwise she likely would have failed to reach such heights. She lost her reelection bid in the House in 2012.

Hochul's team had barely cleared the memory hurdle of the press conference where the governor made the claim that "Young black kids growing up in the Bronx don't know what the word "computer" is" when the governor stepped in it again. News of Linda Sun and her husband Chris Hu splashed across traditional and social media on Tuesday.

Continuing revelations about Hochul's management of Sun continue to pour in.

Linda Sun Failed Up Thanks To Hochul

In a newly uncovered allegation from the 64-page indictment, Sun lied in a 2020 FBI interview. Hochul promoted her to Deputy Chief of Staff months later.

Hochul is not on the ballot in November, and for that she should feel relieved. However, she will have to contend with implementing the wildly unpopular NYC congestion tax that she tabled due to party pressure in between the coming election and 2026, when she is on the ballot. During the last election, Hochul only narrowly defeated populist Republican Lee Zeldin.
