A passing comment in a debate has turned into a cultural firestorm, and once again, bubble-wrapped liberals are eating crow. So to speak.
Sadly this isn't a new phenomenon. Migrants have been poaching relatively rare and treasured wild birds well before this election cycle. It speaks to the fragility of a high-trust culture: once primitive peoples are introduced, all the beauty and luxury we took for granted must be taken away or locked up. The saying "This is why we can't have nice things" ring a bell?
As we have recently documented, animal sacrifice is real, it's happening in the US, and has even been legally sanctioned in some (heavily Muslim) areas. Further, the Supreme Court has ruled animal sacrifice is legal for religious purposes, albeit with some qualifications.
Happy, the beloved 50 year-old elephant at the famed Bronx Zoo, has been missing for two months. Concerned fans are starting to wonder about her health, or if she's even alive.
Zoo officials have only released terse, vague, technical statements. Please don't let it be that illegal aliens killed or wounded her and it's being hidden for political purposes. At this point, it wouldn't be surprising.
