Driving through Long Island is weirdly soothing for a Trump supporter. Why weirdly? Because it's just a commuter's morning slog from the messy city. But one starts to see visible evidence of MAGA backers...and not in dribs and drabs. Simply put, suburban New York is deeply red.
Along with swaths of upstate, they damn near elected patriot Lee Zeldin in the last race for governor.
The fact is, Trump is popular just about everywhere he goes. Even in the heart of the deep blue city he helped to develop, his native home, there are scores who pour out to cheer him. We at The Manhattan saw the result of his South Bronx rally--and despite all the gaslighting from mainstream media, it was YUGE, and the mood was ebullient.
Now...a rally in Long Island? Home to hyperwealthy Hamptonites, small business owners, working class professionals, think tanks, Native American tribes, country club preppies, cops, soup kitchens, eses in lowriders, engineers, churchgoers of all stripes, sportsmen, sailors, university students, mafia--in short, America. And it's gonna be LIT. Absolutely ape-feces bonkers.
Oh, and they have an unwanted ton of Haitians and other "migrants" doing sketchy stuff...so they know firsthand. Meow!
These are the people who understand that there were two shooters in Pennsylvania. That the moderators in the Kamala debate were doing a "Harris collab", not a proper debate. These are your informed Trumpers, with a few QAnon edgewalkers sprinkled in for good measure. Some roll coal in dualies festooned with $350 worth of Trump swag. 1A, 2A, thin blue line suburban preppers.
They want you to be uncomfortable if opposed, reassured if on board. They know they're holding the line. They know they're on deck in a SHTF scenario in NYC. And they're righteously pissed off.
Come to the rally, if you have the clangers. And someone please bring a drone and film the crowd size (legally, of course!). Because fully ¾ of the Bronx rally was outside the viewing area, and just like they did with the 2017 inauguration (closing access to single small gate and taking aerial pix before the Mall was filled), the mainstream media managed to make that massive rally look small and then gaslight like mad.
Let's show Kammunist apparatchiks what New York looks like--not the city, with its million compromises and nuances--but real deal Long Island.
