All about the Long Island Trump Rally... including the epic ending where Trump, while exiting the stage, stopped briefly to be the maestro as the aria Nessun Dorma played in the background...
A group of patriots from Greenwich headed down for the Trump Rally in Long Island yesterday, and for some, it was the very first time going to a rally.
By the time we arrived around 10:30am, the line had already snaked around the building, with thousands and thousands of people eager to see Trump in person.
The instant we got into the line we made friends with everyone around us, which was really easy considering the people who attend Trump rallies are quite possibly some of the nicest, friendliest people in the world.
Vehicles with custom Trump-themed wraps and massive flag displays filled the parking lot, while vendors lined up to sell loads of Trump / MAGA gear.
We could easily see snipers perched on the rooftops surrounding the rally, plus there were plenty of secret service, police officers, and even private security, so we all felt really safe despite the phony bomb threat that everyone had been texting us about.
After we entered Nassau Coliseum, we got incredibly lucky... because an email just arrived announcing that our good friend Steve Warzoha had scored us special seats on the floor, just a few rows back from the stage, and close enough to snap some amazing pics of our favorite President ever, Donald Trump! We can't thank Steve enough for hooking us up!
The coliseum was absolutely packed, and the energy was electric -- you really do need to experience a Trump rally in person to get the full effect because it's just magical. Videos don't do it justice. So many patriots all in one place, all with such an incredible love for our country, and all wanting nothing more than to make our country great again.
Before the main event, we got to hear from a number of local politicians, community leaders and even a mom whose heartbreaking but courageous story brought tears to our eyes. When former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani took the stage, the crowd went wild. Giuliani even led the crowd in some "fight fight fight" chants as he left the stage.
We were sitting close to the tunnel, so we had a bird's eye view when Trump hit the stage.
The sound of ~16,000 people cheering and clapping echoed throughout the coliseum, as people waved signs that said "47" and "Drain the Swamp" and of course "Make America Great Again." You could hear people screaming "We love you Trump!!! We love you Trump" again and again.
Trump's speech did not let down, but those of us who regularly watch his rallies already know this.
He talked about how the multiple assassination attempts had hardened his resolve and his mission.
He said New York was in play for the first time in a long time because of issues like rising crime and shared the story of a brutal, heartbreaking rape that took place in the state that most people didn't hear on the mainstream media. He explained how illegal immigration is costing the city and state billions, draining resources and leaving nothing for real Americans in need.
At various points during the rally, Trump promised to reduce taxes, reduce crime and reduce everyone's "levels of stress". He promised to cap credit card interest rates at around 10%, to take money from the "Green New Scam" and spent it on our crumbling roads and bridges, and to pay down debt. And he promised low taxes, low regulations, low energy costs, low interest rates, and low inflation.
He said, "Kamala Harris is for wide-open borders, with terrorists and criminals pouring into our country, more inflation; even higher than the last four years, which was a record, she wants to pack the Supreme Court... But instead of nine, Kamala wants to bring up, potentially as many as twenty-five justices, so that they can rig the system, like they rig everything else, including elections."
He even mentioned the shocking news that the FBI caught Iran spying on his campaign, and giving all of the information to Comrade Kamala's campaign. Isn't there a word for that?
Trump talked about how God had spared his life. "It must have been God, thank you — not once but twice,” he said as he spoke about the assassination attempts, highlighting the most recent attempt by “a violent radical-left mobster.”
Trump went on to attack Kamala for flip-flops on policy positions, like her promises to ban fracking, abolish private health insurance and authorize migrant gender sex changes, even for those in prison.
When Trump announced he had secured the endorsement of the rank-and-file membership of the Teamsters, the crowd went wild again. He pointed out how the union had for decades automatically backed Democrats, but Trump said the union looked at Kamala and said, "We’re not going there, I’m sorry."
Trump promised to visit Aurora, Colorado, where Venezuelan gang members have run rampant and the mayor seems afraid to do anything, and Springfield, Ohio, which has been flooded with Haitian migrants, draining the resources of the town and schools, leaving citizens up the proverbial creek.
For many in the audience, hearing "Haiti" also served as a reminder for what the Clintons and their foundation did there, or didn't do there... and also child trafficking... Laura Silsby... and all of the children who disappeared from Haiti after that devastating earthquake. Will we ever know the truth about the missing children? And will Trump be able to finally, once and for all, stop human trafficking?
"On November fifth, we will save our economy, we will rescue our middle class, we will reclaim our sovereignty and restore our borders, we will put America First, and we will Take Back Our Country. Because together, we will Make America Powerful Again. Make America Wealthy Again. Make America Healthy Again. Make America Strong Again. Make America Proud Again. Make America Safe Again. Make America Free Again. And We Will Make America Great Again!" he said in closing.
As Trump left the stage, he pumped his fist into the air while the aria Nessun Dorma by Giacomo Puccini filled the air. You could literally feel the vibrations from all of the cheering and clapping.
Then the best thing ever happened.
Just before President Trump reached the tunnel, he stopped and turned to the exact section where we were sitting, and started to wave his hands in the air, as if he were the maestro conducting the music.
Here is the English translation of the aria:
None shall sleep,
None shall sleep!
Even you, oh Princess,
In your cold room,
Watch the stars,
That tremble with love
And with hope. But my secret is hidden within me,
My name no one shall know,
No... no...
On your mouth, I will tell it,
When the light shines. And my kiss will dissolve
the silence that makes you mine!(No one will know his name
and we must, alas, die.)Vanish, o night!
Set, stars! Set, stars!
At dawn, I will win!
I will win!
I will win!
The very same aria also played at the end of the movie "The Sum of All Fears," a Tom Clancy spy thriller about killing terrorists and and bad actors (not unlike the "Deep State") who were trying to destabilize the world.
The symbolism is not lost on us.
We fully understand the spiritual nature of the battle this nation is facing.
We pray that President Trump will continue to be divinely protected, and that he succeeds on the mission to crush the Deep State once and for all so we can Make America Great Again!!!
