    X screencap.

You have to hand it to Hillary Clinton. Despite 57 friends committing "suicide", despite her husband's many dalliances, despite the Clinton Global Initiative's involvement in trafficking children out of Haiti, despite the 30,000 bleached emails, and despite getting her ass kicked by Donald Trump in 2016, she still manages to produce clickbait.

You'd think she'd prefer a walk in the upstate woods with a bottle of Stoli.

But no, Hillary prefers to traipse into CNN and casually suggest that Trump's rally on Sunday at Madison Square Garden is a reenactment of a 1939 pro-Nazi rally. That's right: the Trump = Hitler meme is now officially historical!

Last night, Hillary, bedecked in black, appeared on the CNN evening show "TheSource" to assert that Trump is conjuring Nazi ghosts.

"President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo-Nazis, fascists--in America--were lining up to essentially pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany," Hillary said, "So, I don't think we can ignore it."

To those of you scratching your heads and wondering how MSG, with its modern architecture, could have existed in 1939, it turns out the current venue is the fourth iteration of the idea of a structure bearing that name.

The first was opened in 1879, the second in 1890, and both were located on Madison Square, on East 26th Street and Madison Avenue. The third was on Eighth Avenue and 50th Street.

At any rate, there was indeed a pro-Founding Fathers/anti-Semitic rally in 1939 at the former Madison Square Garden (3rd iteration). Mayor Fiorello La Guardia defended the rally's right to assemble, stating, "If we are for free speech, we have to be for free speech for everybody, and that includes Nazis."

German American Bund leader Fritz Kuhn proclaimed from the stage, "You all have heard of me through the Jewish-controlled press. Wake up! You, Aryan, Nordic and Christians, to demand that our government be returned to the people who founded it!"

That doesn't sound like what Donald Trump has said at his various and sundry rallies, he who has two Jewish daughters, a Jewish son-in-law, a Jewish ex-wife, and several Jewish grandchildren...but who's counting?
