It takes guts to publicly support Donald Trump--any owner of a MAGA hat can tell you that. For eight years, simply exercising free speech in support of Trump has come with a laundry list of triggered responses from adherents to the "party of democracy".
On the other hand, it's a great feeling to get out and discover all of your fellow supporters. There's risk, and there's reward.
Yesterday, fashionista Sophie Sassoon took to the Upper East Side (who says nothing happens there?!) in a trash bag dress of her own making. Her snazzy ensemble--the dress was paired with red designer accessories--was anything but trashy.

As reported by the New York Post, Sassoon is originally from England, but applied for and received American citizenship in order to vote for Trump.
“I wanted to be a chic garbage bag – almost as an experiment to show that this is what garbage looks like,” Sassoon told The Post. “People were cheering, giving me the thumbs up and honking...“He’s one of the best presidents we ever had,” Sassoon crowed of Trump, adding that she supports the former president’s strong positions on the border, Iran and inflation.
How did the locals feel about her statement outfit?
"I got way more love than hate. Only one woman screamed out, ‘You better not need an abortion.’ Sassoon said she shot back, “That’s in the hands of the state, not the president.”

An upstate writer allegedly took matters into his own hands when he seriously bloodied a Trump supporter in a grocery store in sleepy Bath, NY, southwest of Ithaca. Robert Yott, 60, was so incensed by a fellow shopper's "Trump 2024" hat that he punched him several times, resulting in a bloody face and broken teeth, as reported by the Post.
Yott was arrested and booked on second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, Bath police said. Yott is known in the community as a local author of a pair of military history books, the Wellsville Sun reported.

With so many cultures packed into the Excelsior State, you never know what you'll see on our highways and byways. But I doubt any of you had "Orthodox Jewish pro-Trump car parade blasting Yiddish songs" on your bingo card.
Yesterday in Rockland County, roughly 60 miles north of the city, a parade boasting a float, a Cybertruck, and a PA system blasting supportive lyrics over infectious beats wended its way through leafy streets.
