Since the influx of unvetted illegal aliens, it has become increasingly dangerous to walk the streets of New York. For local Jews, the problem is even worse.

Several cases of Jews being harassed in the city--twice violently--were captured on video this past week.

Today, a group of Jewish teens were verbally harassed as they walked on the West Side. The man taking the video says "Free Palestine!" repeatedly in a sing-song voice and mocks the boys, who awkwardly smile and reply, "Have a nice day."

In two of the cases, the victims were wearing clothing such as kippahs (or yarmulkes) that easily identified them, but in a third attack, the victim did not appear to be Jewish, though the footage was taken from a distance.

In the most violent attack, a man is knocked down and repeatedly kicked and struck with fists by a group of teens, some masked. As reported by the Jerusalem Post, the NYPD claims that "there have been 312 incidents of antisemitic hate crimes so far in 2024, as opposed to the 230 recorded in 2023."

In another incident on the 9th, a Hasidic Jewish child was seized off the sidewalk as he walked with his father to synagogue by a masked man. The Orthodox father appeared to strike the assailant, who fled. The attack took place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. As reported by the New York Post, Crown Heights, "a major population center for New York’s ultra-orthodox community, is no stranger to unprovoked violent attacks."
