    President Trump (X).

The highly anticipated afternoon call between President Donald Trump and outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has concluded.

It was the second call between the two leaders. An Oval Office interview with the president following the first call is at the bottom of this article.

In a stroll-by interview with Kaitlin Collins of CNN, with horn-section strains of "We Are the Champions" by Queen playing in the background, Trump was asked by the reporter--with whom he shares a contentious relationship--about the 25% tariffs which are scheduled to go into effect against Canada tonight. Trump simply replied, "Watch!" and continued to walk past.

The second call came after a deal was reached with Mexico midday today that will see 10,000 Mexican troops to patrol the southern border, thereby delaying tariffs to be imposed by one month.

Trump discusses his first call with Trudeau from Monday morning.

This is a developing story, updates to come.
