LAURA LOOMER EXCLUSIVE: Anti- @Tesla protests in NYC, where a Tesla store was vandalized, were organized by a group fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) that @ElonMusk donated millions of dollars to.

Here’s what I uncovered via a joint investigation with @LoomerUnleashed contributor @CcpSkipTracer about the March 8, 2025, vandalism of the Tesla store in the Meatpacking District.

1. The Sunrise Movement @sunrisemvmt partnered with Planet Over Profit (PoP) @pop4climate to organize the vandalism of a Tesla store in NYC on 3/8/25. The groups used http://ActionNetwork.org, a platform for activist coordination, to mobilize the effort.

2. PoP played a central role in the “Tesla Takedown” protests on Saturday. Over 350 protesters gathered at the Meatpacking District Tesla showroom, leading to reported graffiti and arrests. The event was promoted via http://ActionNetwork.org, tying PoP to the scene.

3. Records show PoP is fiscally sponsored by Hack Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Per POP’s donation page on their X account and BlueSky account, contributions to PoP are processed through Hack Club @hackclub, granting them tax-deductible status under U.S. law.

4.Hack Club is a global, student-led, nonprofit network of high school coding clubs and makers, empowering young people to learn and build through coding and technology. According to the @MuskFoundation’s 2023 Form 990, a public tax filing, a $4 million donation from the Musk Foundation, established by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, was made to the Hack Foundation in 2023. This financial link raises questions about the funding behind the anti-Tesla protests and why Hack Foundation solicited donations from @elonmusk while partnering with groups that are using the Hack Foundation resources to vandalize Elon’s Tesla stores and hold protests calling him a Nazi.

5. Sunrise Movement collaborated with PoP, which relied on http://ActionNetwork.org for logistics. PoP is backed by Hack Club, which received $4M from Musk’s foundation. Musk’s own funds indirectly supported a group targeting his company and his image.

6. Climate Change activists who participated in the protests chanted “We need clean air, not [Musk]” amid the chaos. The Tesla store sustained visible damage, with police making multiple arrests.

7. PoP’s website states it is “fiscally supported” by Hack Club. The $4M from Musk’s foundation in 2023 represents significant backing. This means Musk unknowingly funded his own critics who later attacked his business with violence.

8. Sunrise Movement, known for climate advocacy, has not commented on its partnership with PoP or the Hack Club link. Neither has PoP addressed whether they knew its fiscal sponsor benefited from Musk’s donations. Perhaps Elon Musk should reconsider donating millions of dollars to Hack Club…
