Governor Kathy Hochul has never been popular, but you'd think an stump appearance for Vice President Kamala Harris in Manhattan would be a safe outing. Not so in the current political climate.
Hochul was harangued by a Donald Trump supporter during soapbox remarks in support of the Democratic candidate yesterday. Given the small crowd and the heckler's proximity to Harris, it was clear his words were heard by Hochul.

The vociferous citizen banged on a cowbell while yelling, "I'm a native New Yorker, you're f***ing up New York!" and, "You're a socialist!". When two of the attendees tried to quiet the Trump supporter, he replied, "Make me! Get violent!"

Hochul tried to laugh off the interruption as she hastily wrapped up her remarks. "I don't need to convince you to vote for Kamala Harris," she said before beating a hasty retreat to her black Suburban.
