NYC Mayor Eric Adams flew to Florida today to meet with president-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
The visit comes as Adams begins to gear up for a crowded reelection race while under federal investigation in a bribery case involving Turkish diplomacy. Other candidates include former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who, despite various scandals, leads in early polling, and ex-hedge funder Whitney Tilson.

Adams, abandoned by his party after calling out the disastrous effects of Joe Biden's open border policy, is betting that removing illegal aliens from New York City will restore voter confidence in the former cop's leadership skills. It might work, but is it too little, too late?
New York Times reporter Emma Fitzsimmons caught up with Adams at the airport, where Adams confirmed that he'd met Sylvester Stallone while dining with Trump, and Adams professed his appreciation of the "Rocky" series of films.
