The inauguration of the office of the President of the United States is complete. Donald John Trump has been officially sworn in by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, in the Rotunda of the Capitol.

"The golden age of America begins right now," Trump proclaimed from the dais moments after the ceremony. Then he started to bring the goods. "We now have a government that cannot manage even a simple crisis at home...but provides sanctuary and protection for dangerous criminals, many from prisons and mental institutions, that have illegally entered our country from all over the world."

After reciting a laundry list of familiar grievances, from the border to public education, Trump proclaimed, "All of this will change, starting today. And it will change very quickly."
