Last Friday, the New York Post reported that a self-declared "non-contact pedophile" stormed the stage of a Wikipedia conference in Manhattan, and then pointed a gun at his own head.

Wikipedia staff were reported to have quickly tackled and disarmed the man before police took him into custody.

The conference took place at the Civic Hall at Union Square on East 14th Street.
