Fox 5 (New York) reported that MTA bus driver Christopher Accettulli helped deliver a baby.
"She popped right out," said reporter Linda Schmidt.
Accettulli was driving the B37 bus at about 10AM when a woman cried out that she needed to go to the hospital.
The bus driver pulled over and walked back to her and the woman was ALREADY having the baby, reported Schmidt. "A little baby girl," she said.
In an MTA press release, Accuttulli said, "The baby was crying and the EMT came, and the baby is good. That’s all I thought about was making sure the baby was ok. Everything else was secondary for me.”
