There’s been a lot of talk about how hispanics, Asians, and blacks are Democrat refugees seeking asylum in the Republican party. There’s been little talk about how Jews are voting Republican. Perhaps it’s because they make up such a small percentage of the population. This is why it’s even more shocking that the Jews were responsible for almost pulling Lee Zeldin over the line to victory on November 8th, 2022.
Zeldin was endorsed by the NY Post and promoted as a savior. He inspired Republicans, Democrats, and Independents to come together. Zeldin won over the moms who held a bipartisan Moms for Lee town hall. Zeldin did something else, and it was historic - he ignited the Jews.
There are approximately 200,000 Hasidic Jews in New York, about 10% of the state's Jewish population. The disgusting anti semitism spawned by the Left has been so concerning, it sparked a group to activate in a way that has never been so impactful in New York or New York City voting history.
Hate crimes against Jews are higher than any other group; nearly 300%. Yeshivas, rigorous academic institutions unblemished by wokeism are so successful, they’re targeted by the Left who owns the failure of the education complex it controls. There are countless reasons, all rooted in jealousy, why a group representing 0.2% of the population live rent free in so many heads. The bottom line is this; Hasidic Jews in New York City are over being physically assaulted, verbally abused, and unprotected by the Democrat public servants whose salaries their tax dollars help pay. Jews felt the threat and sprung into action.
From Jewish tycoons to Hasidic community leaders, there was robust public and private engagement coming from myriad angles aimed at leading Zeldin to victory. Superpacs were created. Money was strategically distributed to help with messaging, media, and education. Hasidic group leaders led a vigorous GOTV, participating in and holding rallies, sharing information, and galvanizing an insular but mighty community.
The result was overwhelming. Videos went viral of Hasidics flooding the poll sites, waiting in line for hours, and wrapping around blocks. There was even talk that if Zeldin wins, he has the Hasidics to thank.
As per The Jerusalem Post, 33% of Jewish voters polled voted Republican, up from 30% in 2020 and 24% in 2016. More remarkably, Zeldin won between 85-95% in Hasidic Brooklyn neighborhoods in Borough Park and Williamsburg. This is impressive as voter turnout in the same area averaged 50%.
The Jews didn’t necessarily vote for Zeldin because he’s Jewish. According to a Fox News election exit poll, this level of action whereby the national Jewish vote has helped augment the Republican party hasn’t been seen in a generation, and there have been other Jewish candidates. It’s the Republican principles that are winning over the Jews, just like so many other minority groups. Jews trace their freedom, safety, and identity back to the Ten Commandments. Those tablets are the very foundation of what we in Western Civilization call the Judeo Christian principles of law and order. The left on the other hand sincerely believes in fomenting “mostly peaceful” protests that actually kill, assault, loot, and burn.
It’s ironic that the Left has pitched its tent on the hill of CRT and social justice and has actually managed to repulse minority groups. It’s little wonder that the Democrat party has lost so many voters and Republicans have picked up over one million new faces.
Republicans should take note; the Jews almost helped deliver a win for a Republican Governor in the dumpster fire of New York City that is 7 to 1 Democrat. They would have guaranteed the firing of Manhattan DA Bragg, repealing cashless bail, protecting parental rights, and eliminating mandates.

This, then, means that a higher percentage of Jewish people voted Republican in this election than of white women.
