ICE officers, in a joint effort with the FBI, have arrested eight individuals suspected to have ties with ISIS. Most of the suspects were arrested in New York. Moreover, all crossed the southern border left wide open by the Biden administration.
Further, all of those arrested are from Tajikistan.
The suspects were vetted after crossing the border, but the initial process didn't raise any red flags. The men were released into the US.
The news confirms the fears of many who doubted the efficacy of vetting procedures at the border, and should serve as a wake up call to an administration that has actively encouraged immigrants to cross the border illegally.
