Yep, on a recent road trip, The Manhattan spotted a Biden yard sign...and two bumper stickers. Count 'em--TWO! Granted, one of the decals was on a car in the driveway of the yard sign house. Aaaaaand it was in Vermont.
Still, this multiple sighting event constitutes an unsurpassed outpouring of support for the beleaguered Biden campaign. If you're a fan of the Delaware Dandy, this should truly lift your spirits!
Known for Ben & Jerry's, cows, and Ben & Jerry's, Vermont is a verdant wonder. And you've never seen so many Subarus festooned with "Coexist" bumper stickers. Of course they're all for welcoming other cultures to America. It's not like Vermonters exist in a sheltered, bubble-wrapped cocoon: the state is more diverse than ever. In the course of two days, we spotted an African-American teen and an Asian gentleman. Diversity is strength!
The tsunami of boosterism for Biden in the Green Mountain state makes sense. They love white-haired, unaccountable socialists with mysteriously gotten millions. After all, Bernie Sanders is their senior U.S. senator!
On further review, one of the decals was on a New Jersey automobile (see below). The vehicle in question was parked outside of a restaurant. Not only did this Brandon fan choose an illegal spot, he was positioned in a way that blocked access to a lower parking level.
Double foul!
In the spirit of reaching across the aisle to our Democrat friends, we opted to communicate. A note jotted on a paper napkin and tucked under their windshield wiper conveyed our position. Call it constructive criticism.
