Primaries for New York City Council were June 27th.

We learned two hard truths. First, there are two parties in the Big Apple; Republicans and Communists. The incumbents on the Democrat ticket who were Progressive and challenged by a less insane prospect, won. Second, it’s now clear that many registered Democrats identify as Communists (which is why they voted Progressive). Maybe that’s too conservative of a label for them. They veer CHOP / CHAZ, heroin needles, illegals, and pedophelia level party affiliation.

To begin, after every government manufactured nightmare tanking New York City (illegals, crime, drugs, wrecked education, homeless encampments, economy, racial division), voter turnout was abysmal. Don’t get it twisted, outmigration, topping 500,000, proves taxpaying New York City residents are miserable. Additionally, 74% of New York City Voters say crime is a “serious issue” - and this is in a city where Democrats outnumber Republicans 7 to 1.

So why is voter turnout virtually non-existent?

Low patriotism. It makes sense - people that live in the greatest city, in the greatest state, in the greatest country in the world, have lost their way. Civics is gone from school. One party Democrat rule in the Big Apple reflects elected officials that hate America and Americans. Their rhetoric and policies demonstrate no understanding of the American ethos or the Constitution. Once in power, they don’t shut up about how bad America is and Americans are. It’s effective to those already raked over with the same horse manure by educators, DEI Chiefs installed in businesses, entertainment, msm, and Hollywood. Finally, as illegals are pumped into “sanctuary cities'”, like New York City, the worst of the worst populate our citizenry.

This sets up New York City for low voter turnout which is the opening for a radical vote. Let’s look at some Democrat primaries which had a Progressive incumbents on the ballot.

Progressive (a captured term) Christopher Marte won City Council’s District 1 with 63% of the vote. Impressive, until looking at the numbers, which are total duds. There are 71,000 eligible Democratic voters in District 1. Marte got 5053 votes. That is 7%.This means, he will make approximately $150,000 annually in salary and weigh in on issues of major gravitas for amassing a whopping 5053 votes. One would think those living in District 1, home to the most iconic, expensive, and formerly safe areas in New York City, like Soho, Financial District, Tribeca, Chinatown, parts of Greenwich Village, would crawl over broken glass to save it.

Marte’s challenger, Susan Lee, labeled by some as a “rising star” got 30% of the vote, which totaled 2406. Finally, Ursila Jung squeaked past 5% to get a whopping 414 votes and Pooi Stewart, who obviously no one knows, got 1% equalling 81 votes. You can put all the lipstick you want on this fiasco but it doesn’t make it look any better.

Progressive (sic) incumbent Tiffany Caban of District 22 in Queens creamed Charles Castro. She got 85.3% of the vote, which comes to 5,047 votes. She celebrated her victory with a retweet from the Queens branch of the Democratic Socialists of America. Caban looks to make law-abiding citizen’s lives hell one policy at a time. She’s pro-abolishing NYPD, in favor of “sex workers”, and says drag queen story hour for kids a “wonderful, wholesome, vital program" for children (she has no children).

Finally, there’s “Progressive” incumbent Julie Won of District 26. She trounced opponent Hailie Kim, getting 61.08% of the vote. Again, we’re talking about just securing some thousands of votes and for this achievement, being able to inflict tremendous pain on New York City taxpayers.

New York City Council general elections are November 7th. The vote is normal versus wacko. Hey, if you can’t be bothered, that’s cool. It’s only your city and life that hang in the balance.
